Places to visit in Jomuna Future Park
Every day there is At-least one post regarding what to eat in jfp & because I am a frequent visitor I thought I would share my preferred places
1. Friday's - I really like their tangy chicken. It's big enough to be shared by 2 people but you may have to order an extra rice as it doesn't come with any. (8.5/10)
2. Sub factory - I am not a big fan of sandwiches but this place does have good ones. (8/10)
3. Poplar - I find all their desserts too sweet for my liking but others seem to really enjoy them. I only like their milk pudding. (7/10)
4. Ecstasy Cafe -I ordered a grilled chicken meal which tasted good & was quite filling but it is a lil overpriced & the portions of other dishes are very small (7/10)
5. Urban spice - I went there with my family & had a very good meal. Their Tom yum soup had huge prawns & every single thing we ordered was very good (Thai fried rice, steamed lemon fish, some beef & chicken dish I can't remember the name of) but I've heard of other people having bad experiences which tells me their sservice isn't consistent (for me - 9/10)
6. Bnb - love their chicken teriyaki burger (9/10)
7. Tekiya - I had the shrimp sushi & liked it but again ice hears mixed reviews of this place (for me - 8/10)
8. Khushbu - the yoghurt sorbet is very good but ask them not to add lemon to it (8/10)
9. Tabaq - liked their CB the first time but not so much the 2nd time but love their ferrero rocher shake.(8.5/10)
10. Happy bites - l liked their Oreo shake way better than tabaqs but I went there a long time ago & my sister went there recently & said that it sucked ( for me - a 9/10)

Review: As the new kids on the block, Suzuki coffee needs to step up its game. The hot coffee items were all solid performers, but not quiet up to the standards you would expect from an international chain. They offer nothing out of the ordinary and there definitely wasn't any 'wow' factor. But considering the introductory price of 70tk, it was good enough.
The cold items killed it for me. They put way too much ice in the mug, and as a result, the coffee turned watery pretty fast. Maybe they're cutting back on ingredients for now due to the low price charged? I don't know...but hopefully they'll rectify this. Until then, don't go for the cold items.
On a more positive note, the two foreign baristas/trainers are very friendly and helpful. To people in the restaurant industry...that's how its done!

When we complained, after tasting both d new york fish & chips, they served swiss fish & chips. Before we could finish eating sea food platter no 1, they just took it away without asking us & we didnt even tell them to do it. Again we complained so they gave us a complentary Singapore Fish & Chips worth 685tk. We didnt say anything coz we knew we had to wait out lifetime if we ordered another sea food platter. We vry already full so we told them to pack all the food. The food never came & we also ordered 1 extra New York fish & chips & 1 sea food platter no 1 for take away which took a deacade to deliver. When we asked about our leftovers they said they trashed it & we were really pissed off so they gave complimentary sea food platter no 1. It was totally a messed up situation with the worst service. সপ্তাহে প্রায় চার-পাঁচদিন খাওয়া হয় এদের চিকেন, আলু ভাজি আর শর্মা, আজ পর্যন্ত পেটে কোন গোলমাল হয়নি। কার্ট ওপেন করার সময় ধুয়ে নেয় সবকিছু, খাবার যারা হ্যান্ডেল করে তাদের হাতে পলিথিনের গ্লাভস থাকে। সো হাইজিনে সমস্যা হবে না গ্যারান্টিড ।
সার্ভিস ভালো। তিনজন থাকে সবসময়, একজন ফ্রাই করে, আরেকজন শর্মা বানায়, আরেকজন টাকা হ্যান্ডেল করে। শুধু মিরপুর না, পুরো ঢাকায় এত চমৎকার খাবার পাওয়া যাবে নাকি সন্দেহ, তাও এত কম দামে এত ভালো সার্ভিসে।
পাশেই একটা চায়ের দোকান আছে, প্রায় দশ রকমের চা বানায়। ওদের রং চা সবচেয়ে ভালো। বিকেল শেষে ফুটপাথে পা ঝুলিয়ে পেটপুরে চিকেন আর শর্মা খাওয়ার পর এক কাপ রং চা= স্বর্গসুখ।

Went to MADCHEF and MUNCHIES REPUBLIC today.
Already there are so many reviews here on MADCHEF, so aint gonna rate that. Also i dont want to rate any of these 2 cart.
No rating on numeric figures but in verbal rating.
We tried the Tandooi Chicken Burger from MADCHEF and Ultimate Burger with Hot Spicy Chicken Patty from MUNCHIES REPUBLIC.
Both of the Burgers were good! I rate it GOOD!
Not gonna say BEST yet as i didnt tried so many burgers from different carts. You people will love it for sure. There are options on both carts for extra toppings. Price of the Tandoori Chicken burger is 160 taka each and Ultimate Burger is 200 taka each.
Must have to admit, bacon entirely changes the taste of the burger to a whole new level. So Burger with the bacon is recommended.

Review Of BBQ Tandoori Chicken/Beef Burger At Takeout , Shimanto Square

কয়েক দিন আগে সীমান্ত স্কয়ার (রাইফেল স্কয়ার) এর Takeout নামক একটি কার্টে বার্গার খেলাম। ওদের বেশ কয়েক প্রকার বার্গার আছে, তার মধ্যে ২ টা বার্গার খাওয়া হল। নিচের দুইটি ছবির মধ্যে প্রথমটি BBQ Tandoori Chicken Burger, পরেরটি BBQ Tandoori Beef Burger। খাওয়ার সময় প্রথমেই যেটি খেয়াল করলাম - প্রচুর পনির (cheese), সাথে যথেষ্ট পরিমানে প্যাটি,পেঁয়াজ আর টমেটো। BBQ Tandoori Chicken টায় একটা স্মোকি ফ্লেভার আছে, যেটা আমি তুমুলভাবে উপভোগ করেছি। এত cheese ছিল যে খাওয়ার সময় হাত বেয়ে বেয়ে পড়ছিলো । BBQ Tandoori Beef ও যথেষ্ট ভালো ছিল, তবে আমার কাছে সেটি Chicken টার মত অসাধারণ লাগেনি। Chicken টার কোন তুলনা হয়না, I recommend this highly.

আরেকটি রিভিউ দিতে চাচ্ছি সেটি হল Coffee Shot এর, যদিও এটির ছবি তোলা হয়নি। এদের দুই ধরনের কফি আছে - কোল্ড কফি (৩৫ টাকা) আর চকোলেট কোল্ড কফি (৪৫ টাকা)। দুটিই পানি ছাড়া, আড়ং দুধ দিয়ে বানানো হয় এবং আমি যতদূর দেখলাম, যথেষ্ট স্বাস্থ্যসম্মত ভাবে বানায়। আমি খেয়েছিলাম চকোলেট কোল্ড কফি, অনেক মজার ছিল, দুধের ঘনত্বটা খাবার সময় বোঝা যাচ্ছিল, দামের তুলনায় যথেষ্ট ভালো কফি। আমি এর রেটিং 10/10 দিলাম।

Review Of Urban Spice

Because eating is what I'm best at!

Review: Firstly I'll start off with the Calamari Rings. These were pretty good actually, the meat itself was very tender but the only drawback here was the breading, I'd liked it if it was a tad crunchier and if they served a wedge of lemon or two. Rating: 8/10
The Nasi Goreng Rice was an Inodenisian interpretation of our regular "Bangladeshi-Chinese Fried Rice" and it was accompanied with a side of two satays, a crack of some sort and a sunny-side up. It was pretty good but it did lack a bit of punch and the nuttiness at some stages did overpower the art of the spices. Rating 7/10
Next up was the Kampi Goreng, which happened to be an Indonesian noodles of some sort, but this tasted divine. This had the perfect amount of spice, sweetness, tanginess and saltiness to it, all in all, it had the perfect Umami flavour to it. Rating: 9/10
The last dish was the Pepper chicken sizzle which was the best dish amongst the lot. This was terrific. It had a handful of bell peppers and onions stir-fried into it and it was ahh-mazing. It had that evil kick at the back of your throat every time you take a bite of it but boy oh boy was it delicious! Rating: 9.5/10
The total bill was 1300-ish or sth like that

To gulp down a heap of khabar, no normal dessert would do. Thus, Khusbu was the perfect place for it. They make Taiwanese desserts that are hands down the best of its kind in Dhaka. I had the Strawberry-Raspberry mash snow ice and it was heavenly. I don't exactly remember the toppings but all I remember is that it was a perfect combination. Oh, and NEVER EVER order the large bowl, you'll need a large posse to conquer that. All in all, this was the best dessert I've had in quite some time. Rating: 11/10

Burger review on Wifi Street Food Cart.

So let's walk through. The cart opens at around 4:45-5 PM and since I was early and had nothing to do, I watched them set up. It was a rainy day and the street was muddy. Sat Masjid Road has many buses passing by as well which makes it kinda uncomfortable. Then I watched them take out the cutting boards and wash them on the muddy street. The sidekick actually dropped ''the burger'' spatula on the mud (yuck!) after which the main dude gave him a scolding.
I ordered 2 Mexican BBQ Cheese burgers and a Special burger. The ingredients they use were of premium quality, I noticed most of their shopping was done from meena bazaar or some superstore. That was a bit comforting and surprising.
The Cheese Burger at 120tk regardless of the price, a great burger. It is quite juicy and packed full of flavours! The patty did have the awesome BBQ and grill flavour to it. They also gave pickles along with fresh tomato and onion.
The Special Burger at 150tk was a bit of a disappointment. In their menu it clearly said it had an egg in it. But the guy did not give any egg. After asking him why, he was like you get half of an egg per burger so only if you order 2 Special Burgers or if someone has a Special Burger on order at the same time, I can divide one egg and share it. So he gave me mushrooms instead. I got another cheese burger with mushrooms.
Math Time!
Cheese Burger + Mushroom = 120 + 20 = 140tk
''Special'' Burger = 150tk for the same thing lol.
I don't mind 10tk but that is not how you take money from customers. I'd rather give it to the poor and needy than be tricked.
Final Verdict: On a dry day I'd definitely order through Hungrynaki. And better you add your add-on individually so you know what you're gonna get. Apart from the misunderstanding I do think the burgers were fantastic! And yeah definitely the bang for your buck factor! Price just makes it beyond worth it. The burger saved the day! My request to them would be to improve on their hygiene (maybe change the sidekick) and hope I get my egg another day.

environment seemed good enough and servers were nice too but weren't trained well. we went their based on a review my fnds Jihan n Badhon had and the servers even specifically told us dat they hav a chef with 35 years or experience. when d food came in d first thing we thought that we shud hav had breakfast ! and after we were finished eating we were literally about to vomit our tummies out. it was one of d worst experiences we ever had. their mixture of food items had no sense at all ! with khichuri they added crispy fried potatoes ! in d picture there is a piece of gravy chicken bt they provide dim bhuna, and any curry u wil hav to buy. their curries are worth of 275 & 295 but it's not even 2:1 ! kala bhuna je atto dry hoite pare i never knew, chicken er piece o je atto choto hote pare na dekhle believe kortam nah !
anyway long story short, we wud hav let it go coz evry now n then u wil hav a worst day bt their pricing den amazed us d most ! just a suggestion for food lovers: DO NOT TRY IT WHEN U R HUNGRY and by hungry i mean NEVER !!

Sleepy Grass , A Story Of a Little Kid

A long time ago...but not very long..
There was this baby-girl who was maybe 2 or 3 years old.
So her Parents took her to a place just to chill out.
It was a nice place as there was a little field. Grasses everywhere.
Her parent's let her play around the grass..
the baby was really happy to see a green view as it was a rear scene in the city.
She pulled out some grasses and played with it.
Mostly she was crawling around. From here to there.
Her parents were talking and laughing almost forgot that their baby was a bit far away from them..
After a while they noticed that their baby was quite far away and she wasn't moving.
Her parents got worried and they went to check it out..
you won't believe what they saw..
The baby fell asleep while pulling out the grass.. and she was practically sleeping on the grass in that position.

Hilarious ? right ?

Yeah i laughed out really loud after listening to this story. & hey! this story is true!
