Places to visit in Jomuna Future Park
Every day there is At-least one post regarding what to eat in jfp & because I am a frequent visitor I thought I would share my preferred places
1. Friday's - I really like their tangy chicken. It's big enough to be shared by 2 people but you may have to order an extra rice as it doesn't come with any. (8.5/10)
2. Sub factory - I am not a big fan of sandwiches but this place does have good ones. (8/10)
3. Poplar - I find all their desserts too sweet for my liking but others seem to really enjoy them. I only like their milk pudding. (7/10)
4. Ecstasy Cafe -I ordered a grilled chicken meal which tasted good & was quite filling but it is a lil overpriced & the portions of other dishes are very small (7/10)
5. Urban spice - I went there with my family & had a very good meal. Their Tom yum soup had huge prawns & every single thing we ordered was very good (Thai fried rice, steamed lemon fish, some beef & chicken dish I can't remember the name of) but I've heard of other people having bad experiences which tells me their sservice isn't consistent (for me - 9/10)
6. Bnb - love their chicken teriyaki burger (9/10)
7. Tekiya - I had the shrimp sushi & liked it but again ice hears mixed reviews of this place (for me - 8/10)
8. Khushbu - the yoghurt sorbet is very good but ask them not to add lemon to it (8/10)
9. Tabaq - liked their CB the first time but not so much the 2nd time but love their ferrero rocher shake.(8.5/10)
10. Happy bites - l liked their Oreo shake way better than tabaqs but I went there a long time ago & my sister went there recently & said that it sucked ( for me - a 9/10)

Review: As the new kids on the block, Suzuki coffee needs to step up its game. The hot coffee items were all solid performers, but not quiet up to the standards you would expect from an international chain. They offer nothing out of the ordinary and there definitely wasn't any 'wow' factor. But considering the introductory price of 70tk, it was good enough.
The cold items killed it for me. They put way too much ice in the mug, and as a result, the coffee turned watery pretty fast. Maybe they're cutting back on ingredients for now due to the low price charged? I don't know...but hopefully they'll rectify this. Until then, don't go for the cold items.
On a more positive note, the two foreign baristas/trainers are very friendly and helpful. To people in the restaurant industry...that's how its done!

মিরপুরের এই রেস্টুরেন্টটা কোন এক অজানা কারণে এখনো আন্ডাররেটেড রয়ে গিয়েছে। আমার পারসোনাল এক্সপেরিয়েন্স কিন্তু বেশ ভালো। ফুড-সার্ভিস কোয়ালিটি, প্রাইস ,এনভায়রনমেন্ট সবকিছু মিলিয়ে বেশ ভালোই। গত রোজাতে গিয়েছিলাম ইফতার করতে, অভিজ্ঞতা বেশ সুখকর ছিল বলেই আজকে আবার তেমন কোন চিন্তা ভাবনা করা ছাড়াই যেতে পারলাম।
আজকে অর্ডার করলাম
1. থাই স্যুপ (1:3) - BDT 280 (Rating 7/10)
2. মিক্সড ফ্রাইড রাইস (1:3) - BDT 290 (Rating 7.5/10)
3.চিকেন সিজলিং (1:3) - BDT 330 (Rating 8.5/10)
4.মিক্সড চাওমিন (1:3)- BDT 250( Rating 9/10)
5.চিকেন ক্যাশুনাট স্যালাড (1:3)- BDT 300 (Rating 9/10)
6. Szechuan Chicken (1:3) - BDT 350 (Rating 9/10)
7. Mineral Water - BDT 40 (পানিরে রেটিং দিতে নাই, কারণ পানির অপর নাম জীবন, রেটিং দিলে পাপ হবে )
8. Cold Drink- BDT 30 Each (কাঁচের বোতলের পেপসি, আহামরি কিছু না)
প্রত্যেকটি আইটেমের সাথেই ভ্যাট ইনক্লুসিভ, আলাদা করে প্যারা দেয়া না (কি শান্তি ! ) থাই স্যুপ বাদে আর সব কয়টি আইটেমই বেশ ভালো রকমের ভালো!!! থাই স্যুপটাও খারাপ না , এভারেজ আর কি। আলাদা করে বলতে হয় চাওমিন, ক্যাশুনাট স্যালাড এর কথা ! চাওমিন এর মধ্যে চিকেন দেয়াতে কোন কিপটামি করে না, উদার হস্তে চিকেন দান করে। আর ক্যাশুনাট স্যালাড এর মধ্য অনেক ক্যাশুনাট , চিকেন স্লাইস , বেশ কয়েক রকমের সস , শশা দিয়ে বানায় , মজা নিয়ে খাওয়া যায়। চিকেন সিজলিং আর সিচুয়ান চিকেন মাশাআল্লাহ বেশ ভাল
প্রত্যেকটা আইটেম ১:৩ বলা হলেও আমরা ৬ জন মিলে খাওয়ার পর ও আলাদা করে ২ ব্যাগ পার্সেল হইসে, এবার বুঝে নেন কোয়ান্টিটির পরিমাণ কতটুকু দেয়
স্বাদে ভালো, দাম সহনীয়, ভ্যাট নাই, পরিবেশ ও ভালো , আর কি চাই! VIP Restaurant নাম হলেও সর্বসাধারণের নাগালের ভিতরেই সব কিছু, নাম শুনেই ভয় পাওয়ার কিছু নাই। আর ওদের ব্যুফে লাঞ্চের ব্যবস্থা আছে দেখলাম । পার পারসন সব মিলিয়ে ৪৯৫ টাকা। নেক্সট টার্গেট ব্যুফে!

Went to have dinner. Now d competition starts whoz gonna get d table first. Waited almost an hr to get a seat. We were offered complementary drink i.e coke for waiting. Then after getting the table we had to wait another 30/40 min for someone to take our order. We ordered 2 Chockie Junkie price 345, 1 Cranberry Float price 245, 1 Swiss Fish & Chips price 780, 1 New York Fish & Chips price 780 & 1 Seafood Platter No 1 price 1245. Now d actual storyi. First they served 2 New york fish & chips whereas we ordered 1 new york fish & chips & 1 swiss fish & chips. When we complained, after tasting both d new york fish & chips, they served swiss fish & chips. Before we could finish eating sea food platter no 1, they just took it away without asking us & we didnt even tell them to do it. Again we complained so they gave us a complentary Singapore Fish & Chips worth 685tk. We didnt say anything coz we knew we had to wait out lifetime if we ordered another sea food platter. We vry already full so we told them to pack all the food. The food never came & we also ordered 1 extra New York fish & chips & 1 sea food platter no 1 for take away which took a deacade to deliver. When we asked about our leftovers they said they trashed it & we were really pissed off so they gave complimentary sea food platter no 1. It was totally a messed up situation with the worst service. Food Rating..Drinks 8/10..New york fish & chips 10/10..Swiss Fish & Chips 7/10..Singapore Fish & Chips cant rate coz we didnt even taste it & they trashed it without asking...Platter No 1 rate 6/10...Service -100000/10..i dont think i'll go there again

স্থান- মিরপুর অরিজিনাল ১০, মেডিনেট ও হলমার্ক এর পাশে, মেটাফোর সাইবার ক্যাফের নিচে, শর্মা হাউস এর অপজিটে। দশ নং গোলচক্কর থেকে এগারোর দিকে আসলে হাতের বাঁদিকে পরবে। সহজেই চেনা যায় কারন সারাক্ষণ ভীর লেগে থাকে।
সময়- ৫টা থেকে খাবার শেষ হওয়া পর্যন্ত, সাধারণত নয়টার পর গেলে কিছু পাওয়া যায় না।

ট্রাষ্ট মি, বেস্ট ফ্রাইড চিকেন এভার, কেএফসি, বিএফসি থেকেও ভালো। দাম- চিকেন ফ্রাই ১টা ৪৫ টাকা, কোন পিসটা খাবেন বলে দিলে সেটাই দেয়। চিকেন উইং ১টা ৩৫টাকা। চিকেন ফ্রাই রেকমেন্ডডেড। মচমচে পার্ফেক্ট ফ্রেঞ্চ ফ্রাই, এক প্লেট ২৫ টাকা। আমার খাওয়া সেরা শর্মা ৪৫ টাকা, সো মাচ বেটার দেন অপজিটের শর্মা হাউস। নুডুলস আছে, প্লেট ১৫/২৫ টাকা, তেমন ভালো না। চিকেন ভেজিটেবল স্যুপ আছে, বাটি ২৫ টাকা, কখনো ট্রাই করা হয়নি কিন্তু ডিমান্ড দেখে মনে হয় বেশ ভালো। তবে ওদের সবচেয়ে চমৎকার আইটেম হচ্ছে এই সসটা, ফ্রি রিফিল lol। Absolute best sauce I have ever tasted.
সপ্তাহে প্রায় চার-পাঁচদিন খাওয়া হয় এদের চিকেন, আলু ভাজি আর শর্মা, আজ পর্যন্ত পেটে কোন গোলমাল হয়নি। কার্ট ওপেন করার সময় ধুয়ে নেয় সবকিছু, খাবার যারা হ্যান্ডেল করে তাদের হাতে পলিথিনের গ্লাভস থাকে। সো হাইজিনে সমস্যা হবে না গ্যারান্টিড ।
সার্ভিস ভালো। তিনজন থাকে সবসময়, একজন ফ্রাই করে, আরেকজন শর্মা বানায়, আরেকজন টাকা হ্যান্ডেল করে। শুধু মিরপুর না, পুরো ঢাকায় এত চমৎকার খাবার পাওয়া যাবে নাকি সন্দেহ, তাও এত কম দামে এত ভালো সার্ভিসে।
পাশেই একটা চায়ের দোকান আছে, প্রায় দশ রকমের চা বানায়। ওদের রং চা সবচেয়ে ভালো। বিকেল শেষে ফুটপাথে পা ঝুলিয়ে পেটপুরে চিকেন আর শর্মা খাওয়ার পর এক কাপ রং চা= স্বর্গসুখ।

এক পিছ ইলিশ ভাঁজা(সবচেয়ে বড় সাইজেরটা) - ৮০ টাকা, ৬০ টাকারও আছে । টেস্ট বেশ ভালো তবে extraordinary না । ৭/১০
এক পিছ ইলিশের ডিম(এটাও ভাঁজা হয়) - ২০০ টাকা, ১৫০ টাকা এরও আছে একটু ছোট সাইজের । এইটা বেশ সুস্বাদু । ৮.২/১০

ডাল আর করলা ভাঁজি - খারাপ না, খুবই সিম্পল । করলা ভাঁজির দাম মনে নেই, তবে ডাল ছোট্ট এক বাঁটিতে অল্প পরিমাণে দেয়, দাম ৩০ টাকা । ৩/১০
Environment - পাশে নদী, পরিবেশটা সাধারণ খাবার দোকানের হলেও ভালো লাগে । ৭.২/১০
হাত ধোওয়ার ব্যবস্থা - বড় ড্রামে পানি রাখা থাকে, মগ দিয়ে বেসিনে নিয়ে হাত ধুতে হয় । এইটা অনেক বাংলাদেশের প্রত্যন্ত অঞ্চলের মতই রয়ে গেছে । ৪/১০
Overall, খাবার দাবার বেশ ভালোই লাগবে । তবে দামটা খাবারের তুলনায় অনেক বেশি হয়ে যায় । Personal Suggestion, টেস্ট না করলেই না এইভাবে টেস্ট করা, দাম না জেনে শুনে ডাল বা ভাঁজি নিতেই না থাকা ।
